Welcome Still Automatic to the Kitchen!

Hey folks!!!

We are really happy to announce a new feature to our menu!

…. another refreshing breath of air from the Evergreen State, Seattle punk rock band “Still Automatic” has joined forces with delicious Canadian label When’s Lunch Records!

Brothers Tony & Bryan Lash, may be best remembered for the work on the west coast as the band “Hat Trick” having released four records independently and experimenting with different elements while recording, “Hat Trick” had performed on stage at Warped Tour, toured the USA / Canada and opened for the Ataris, and SNFU!

Now breathing new life into a new project the Lash brothers added old friend and classmate Adam Tabor into the band. The trio which now play under the name “Still Automatic” have evolved into an explosion of progressive punk rock. Having spent the winter at Bryan’s studio “Blash Studios” in which they recorded “Hatred Of Release” mastered by the legendary Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Once all said and done this 10 minute EP will breath new sound into your ears and featuring title track “Hatred of Release” followed by two other tracks “Lost Homes” and “8 Years 2 Days”. The album artwork is also a treat featuring vibrant colors put together by Jesse Lash.

Being new is sometimes hard, however if your a fan of No Use For A Name, The Ataris, The Getup Kids and Saves The Day your about to add another recorded into your collection.

When’s Lunch Record will be releasing “Hatred Of Release” digitally August 16, 2011 on iTunes and Amazon MP3.

This is simply a sample of whats to come from these guys, the proof is in the marinate and will be ready for the grill this August!

Whens Lunch / X-Member Records to release new Pulley 7″

We are really excited to finally announce that we are releasing the newest effort by Pulley “The Long And The Short Of It” on vinyl June 28! Pulley’s own label X-Member Record will be releasing this digitally on the same day!

This three track EP consists of the songs: “No Man’s Flute”, “The Long and the Short of It”, and “Which Way to Go” (a cover version of a tune by Austin, TX punk legends The Big Boys). Acclaimed producer Matt Hyde, who worked with the band on “Matters” in 2004, and “Time-Insensitive Material” in 2009, oversaw the recording process once again. In keeping with the vibe and spirit of an old school 1980’s era seven inch, Pulley commissioned their old friend and prolific artist, Brian Walsby (Melvins,7Seconds, Flipside, Maximum Rock & Roll, etc.) to handle the cover illustration.

“The Long and The Short of It” may be Pulley’s shortest work to date, but this appetizer does not lack in taste. Each track has been forged from the band’s high standard of melodic punk rock sensibilities. Scott’s Radinsky’s unmistakable voice, Jim Blowers’ and Mike Harder’s shredding guitars, Tyler Rebbe’s melodic bass lines, and newcomer “Metal Bob” Gilmore’s rapid fire drumming are all here, and as powerful as anyone has ever heard them.

Pulley is currently planning a full length record to be released in early 2012. Until then, get out your turntable or capable mp3 playing device, sit back, relax, and enjoy “The Long and the Short of It”

Pre-Orders will not be taken until we get them from the plant.
